Founded by Sunil & Nirupama Deshpande to transform lives through bamboo artistry

Srushtibandh started in the mid-90s from the tribal village of Lawada in Maharashtra's Melghat Forest. What began as an initiative to solve malnutrition problems has grown into a movement that empowers SC/ST communities through sustainable bamboo-based employment.
Our vision extends beyond livelihoods โ we aim to resurrect the artisan economy that once formed the base of India's sustainable decentralized industrial heritage.
